From prototype to production run.
Without paying for a mold along the way.

Functional prototyping, validation pilot runs and short production runs in nylon PA12. The same MJF technology prints your part 1 and your part 10,000 — with zero tooling cost and a per-unit price from day one.

[01] The math

Injection mold or MJF?

An injection mold costs thousands of euros and weeks of toolmaking before you hold the first part in your hand. It makes sense when you will amortise it over tens of thousands of units — and it is money down the drain when you need 80, 500 or 3,000.

With MJF, the cost of unit 1 and unit 1,000 start from the same base, with no upfront investment. The crossover point depends on each part, but the rule of thumb is simple: for short and medium runs, printing wins; for mass volume, the mold. And while you decide, MJF gives you an advantage the mold will never have: changing the design between batches costs nothing.

[02] Use cases

What companies ask us for.

Functional prototyping

Prototypes you can assemble, thread and test like the final part — not cosmetic mock-ups. Iterate the design in 72 h cycles.

Validation pilot runs

10-100 units to validate product, certifications or customer feedback before investing in definitive tooling.

Short production runs

Hundreds or thousands of end-use parts with industrial batch-to-batch repeatability. On-demand production: order what you sell.

Jigs, fixtures and spare parts

Custom grippers, locators, gauges and line tooling — and discontinued spare parts nobody makes anymore.
